Can anyone confirm that the early models America and Speedy have the exact same frame. I am asking because I am getting a mounting kit for a sidecar I am installing on my 2004/5 Speedy and the fabricators have already built one for an America.
I reckon it is exactly the same but am just checking in case I missed something.
Bedouin.
Blessed are those eyes that have seen more roads than any man! (Homer).

They're exactly the same, T-Man.
The only differences were (on the Speedmaster) the cast wheels, the twin disc brakes up front, The smaller front fender, the straighter "drag bike" style handlebars using higher risers, the "gunfighter" seat and the slightly higher gearing due to one less tooth on the countershaft sprocket. And of course, the paint colors.
(...yep, the frames were exactly the same)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
