Silence may be golden, but for me it dose not apply to motorcycle exhaust.Niether sould the be silent or golden!I have had it with my discolored pipes. The AI removal still has not solve the problem and I have looked into covering my pipes. After research and some digging around I have found a local company that does ceramic coating. It will run me about 80-90 bones.Since the smallest roll of wrap I can find is 75 dollars the ceramic coating is looking like the best option for me.Has any one got this done on there pipes or have any information on this?

I have heard good things about ceramic coating. Can't remember who, but there was an outfit that coats the inside of the pipes. This insulates the metal so you can keep the shiney finish without it turning strange colors.

I have also been considering ceramic coating my headers. I also thought about painting them. Does anyone know how hot they actually get?

If it's classic coatings I have already checked them out.Liked what I saw but I am trying to avoid shipping cost and looking at local outfits.

I had my headers ceramic coated. I hated the blue pipes. The place did it inside and out for about $140. They look good, not as shiny as the chrome, and I can polish them with aluminum polish if they get dull, which restores the shine. I love em.
