There’s an 07 in downtown Atlanta listed on CL. Really low mileage blue and white but what caught my attention was the Fast Eddy backrest...that made me think it might be a member's ride. Anyone know it?

I've got a hankering for an America again, I’ve regretted selling my 04 more than any other bike I’ve owned. This one looks to be a prime candidate and it has the bonus of appearing unadulterated. I’m expecting the docs to release me back into a normal life soon and I’m going to try and saddle up, I really, really miss riding.

Awesome! Hope it works out oldroadie! Sold my '04 and eventually replaced it with a 2010 America and never looked back. Like you I really regretted selling my first America. Really enjoy the 865 engine - seems to handle anything I ask of it...

Best wishes on your recovery...

I’m a really big fan of the 865 engine, too, but I may have made a horrible mistake. Saturday I sat on a new Speedmaster at the dealership in Chattanooga...it fit perfectly as if it had been tailored just for me. Argh...

Thanks Mike. I've had a bit of a rocky road the past three years but I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m ready to ride again. Once I get off the surgeon's restriction at the beginning of August I hope to strengthen my core enough to go test ride a couple of bikes by the end of the month. I’m determined to ride again and I have a goal.
