I wanted to replace the bushing that got ruined on my rear shocks. but at 15 years old ,im just going to replacw the whole rear suspwnsion. Can anyone recommend a good set of aftermarkets that will be good for road trips with luggage and a dwcwnt amount of 2 up? Been looking at fast Eddys 444s but id like to savw aome money if i can. However, i don't want crappy shocks...

I have Hagon 2810s on mine. I did 300mm which lowered the back a bit. Great Shock you just need to make sure you advise them of your weight and your passenger when ordering and tell the truth.

Many find if you really want an improved ride you need to do the front shocks too. I am planning on that next so I am sure there will be some advise given on that too.

I got mine from www.fasteddysports.com

Just done my front end Billy. No more brake dive & all the roads round here feel like they've been repaired now too.

fwiw I got a set of Progressive 412s from Fast Eddy; I rated them a 3 on his site. They are an improvement over stock, but if I had the $ I would have gotten the 444s. Had a set on my 04 America and they were terrific. Also changed out the fronts with progressives and it was an improved ride all around.

The 444s are the real deal but the 2810 Hagons are pretty good when you tell the vendor your expected load and get them sprung properly.

With only 3 step preload, the spring rates on Hagon 2810's need to be close to optimum to properly tune them.
