Getting my 2007 BA back together. Pretty uneventful everything seems to have gone back together OK. Of course, when I was refitting the front wheel on one attempt the front speedo gear feel out. I looked at it and put it back together and installed it.

Speedo cable went back in no problem.

Just to be anal I disconnected the cable end at the speedo housing and the cable end was turning when rotating the wheel.

Don't remember which direction (guess CClockwise). Is that correct?

Thanks, would rather correct before completing putting the rest of the bike together.

Backwards? No. Out of position? Yes. There's a tab on the speedo drive that fits into a notch of the fork leg to keep the speedo drive from rotating and stressing the cable.

Not the speedo housing but, the actual ring gear. The gear fell out of the housing while refitting the wheel. It's hard to tell how it goes back in.
