I started a victory garden a couple of weeks ago. When I watered it this morning, there were some sprouts starting. In a month or so, I'll probably be enjoying some fresh veggies.
This is a small 'proof of concept' project. If it works out, I plan to put in a much bigger one between the barn and workshop.

What's a Victory garden? I had visions of maybe a couple of Crops Country's and a row of Hammers.

Amy and I have a Triumph garden, so far potatoes and onions, along with some strawberries. We're not into those Harley gardens just to many Rhubarbs.

Those of us in the midwest will be planting in a month or so. After the threat of frost is mainly past.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I once grew a Honda garden.
And I gotta say the rice it yielded was very very tasty.
(...especially the pudding the wife made with some of it...WITH raisins of course)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Btw, and now that I've added a Springfield to my small collection of motorcycles, I'm seriously thinking of growing an Indian garden.
(...figure the corn especially will be sweet...ONCE it grows as high as an elephant's eye, of course)

I'm a bit behind you. I just started a small vegetable garden today. The last couple years I have grown a few veggies, most success with beans & cucumbers. Tend to feed the wildlife and insects as much if not more than myself.
09 America, some modifications
