Think young! I'm 64 but my wife says I act like a teenager. Is that good or bad?

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Face miles of piles of trials.

I didn't see this on the news. Ah misspent youth!

My goal is to outlive ALL of my kids. And I tell them that. (That dang youngest son is gonna make it difficult for me though. He work out and eats right. I SURE didn't teach him any of that!) Only have the one Moody Blues album. (Days of Future Passed) But it is a classic for sure.

Days of Future Past is the only album of theirs I ever owned but I bet with a little prompting I could recite the words to Nights in White Satin. Ok well I could jump in here and there along with them playing it.

My lyrical epiphany was when listening to and simultaneously writing down the lyrics to the bit at the end, the late lament, realizing that songs are poetry...a toe head blue eyed child exponentially fires more synapses.

the first thing I memorized...
breath deep the gathering gloom
watch lights fade from every room...
...cold hearted orb that rules the night
removes the colours (a dee'white u) from our sight
red is grey and yellow white
but we decide what is right
and which is an illusion

Well I have an 18 year old mind trapped in a beaten up 64 year old body.
