Due to a bad lower back, I would find riding my BA far better if I could find a back rest for the rider's seat.

I will soon be getting a pillion rest & rack.

One of the members, Bill, shows his red BA with a bakc rest.

Any ideas ?

Bonnerphil,

What I sometimes do is strap a small bag on the front of the factory backrest. Mine, believe it or not, is a black cordura fabric bowling bag made by Brunswick. They're really inexpensive but tough and a heck of a lot less in price than the specially made bags for bikes. It actually looks good and is especially comfortable on longer rides. But of course you can't use it while riding two-up. I slit the pocket on one end of it and that end slides snugly over the padded factory backrest.

Hope this helps.

Dwight

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

You want a Corbin seat Phil, I also suffer with a lower back problem and find it is just bliss....

Phil:

If you don't want to go for big bucks for Corbin, take a look at this: www.protac.net/index.htm . It worked great for me - my L2 - L4 are just about mush!! I think it was about $125 (Honda 750, if I remember correctly.)

Ray,

That looks just the job. Did you purchase direct from Corbin ?

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting one of these http://www.bikersfriend.com/ Alternatively I might make the wife drink more beer and go everywhere with me

Best wishes

Sid
