This has been a great year riding. Still have not taken the time to figure out how to post new pictures. That will be a winter project.

Bad news is the riding season is getting short here in Indiana only 4 to maybe 6 weeks left. Soon it will just be those 1 or 2 days a month I brave the cold to get the bikes out.

Good news is both the Rocket and America will need an oil change over the winter. I have racked up over 5000 miles on both of them. America will need plugs too.

Only got 2 upgrades I still want to do to the America. Going to open up the air box and get rid of the AI and install a Fire Starter. Put these off over the summer to get the Rocket set up.

Thoughts after the first season with the Rocket and America.

The Rocket is a monster and a great bike. Ema and I did a couple of 500 mile interstate trips in a day on it and it was a joy.

The America is my fun to ride bike. She is so easy to ride, great response, and her power and speed is impressive for her class. I still find myself backing off the power when riding with my Harley friends.

People seeing the Rocket are impressed by the size and technology, but I get more complements on the America. People just love that twin.

Well everyone be safe.

Power, speed, and responsiveness only get better with the Firestarter. It will hands down be the best mod you've ever done.

IMHO, you should also consider airbox removal vs. airbox modifications. You won't miss it, not even a little bit.

I have no problem either way. Been told that with TORS TTP Stage 1 is a good as it gets.

If I open up the pipes then Stage 2 stacks would be best.

There is this guy Duncan that would love to see me put Cocktail Shakers on my bike with stacks.

I run TTP stage 1 Bill, long TORS ,no rear baffles, larger jets,TBS needles, Ai removal, & pods. Great recipe for endless fun and never ending smiles. Now, I run the same recipe but recently changed pipes just for fun. Now I know that although the long half gutted TORS performed very well, and had a nice tonal quality, IMHO, the bike runs a lot better( off the line ) with shorter free flowing pipes, but man are they loud. No more sneaking out of my subdivision for that 3 a.m. dose of fresh air !!

When you get around to clutch work, I highly recommend the TTP safestart, if for nothing else your own piece of mind. I know you've already done tons of work to your America, call it cheap insurance.( If you have the at risk older designed motor, which I believe you do.)
