rear caliper question

Found a used caliper for my boys bike. Will a 2004 caliper fit a 2009? I think it will but hoping someone here would know for sure. Thanks.

I have both year bikes, they are assuredly the same, use the same pads too. A inspect that the older caliper cups don't stick would be something to ascertain. But same o - same o in every respect.
