They look cool and are fine for short trips, but I wouldn't travel out on one. Get a Corbin for serious excursions. Preferably with a backrest. Your Results May Vary. These feel better on my butt in conjunction with the backrest FastEddySports sells: web page web page

I have a low profile seat I dont think its a Maverick. but I did 550 miles in a day on mine. I have never found a comfortable seat so if I am going to be uncomfortable at least the low profile seat puts me down and back and that is better for my 6 foot frame
Life need a little Triumph!
2008 Triumph Speedmaster, Single baffle drag pipes, lots of black powder coatin,K&N pods, AI removed, TBS needles and a procom cdi.

A lot of it (comfort) is finding the right stretch and bend for your back, arms, knees, and legs. Everybody s different. Motorcycle companies must use a algorithmic average when incorporating bar reach, foot controls, seat height, etc. So good luck finding the perfect fit for you personally. But that sells all the aftermarket accouterments.
