The time has come to move on. Although I've been a member here since around 2004, I've not been overly active the last few years. While I've always kept track of what's going on, for no real reason I just haven't posted much lately. For the record, my 2002 TBA was my first bike, and what a wonderful first bike it was. Enough power, amazing handling, unequaled cool...it could have been no better. Being my first bike, it was also my opportunity to learn about these machines we all love, and learn I did. From the original through current members, too numerous to mention or to even try to remember, everything I know about motorcycles was acquired here. I go back to the Dinqua and FriarJohn days, and over the years there have been countless additional contributions and exchanges, all immensely appreciated and valued.

As I approach retirement, ok, early retirement, I've purchased a steed better suited for touring for my wife and myself. The brand of the bike shall remain undisclosed so as to avoid the requisite pelting with virtual beer cups, but hey, it works for us. Actually, I was ready to keep both bikes until a longtime friend expressed an interest in the TBA, and selling seemed to make sense. I feel really good about passing on the Triumph experience to someone I'm close to, and I will still have visitation rights.

Anyway, thanks to all. The last 13 years is something I will always recall fondly. I plan to maintain my status here and I expect to 'lurk' and possibly even contribute from time to time and since I certainly haven't ruled out another Triumph in the future, who knows, I may be back!

Don't forget, membership is free so it doesn't cost anything to come back any time, whatever you're riding.
Whatever you decide, have fun with your new bike and be safe

Your new scooter doesn't kick you out of the cool kid's club. Many of us have other bikes, moved onto different brands, or stopped riding altogether. That isn't a cause to divorce your BonnevilleAmerica family. We will support you, even it you have a Harley. But, we all know that Victorys are better than them hogs...

Now let's not get carried away here. My support only goes so far.

Doesn't mean you can't still hang around here.
