Major slap in the face for photobucket users...No way I'm paying $399.99/year. Flabbergasted I am. Photobucket.com Terms of Use Last revised June 28, 2017 Free account : Each individual Member gets one free account that provides 2 GB of free storage or space available for your original photo files, or videos under 10min. The free account does not allow any image linking or 3rd party image hosting. If a free account Member exceeds their Content Limit, their account will be immediately suspended and they will need to become a “Paying Member” (defined below) in order to continue accessing their account. I've been a member since Sep 27th, 2007.
Total Files Uploaded: 3726
Major use of these images within countless post. Terrible that photobucket uses our photos for their own use (read profit as they can and do sell our photos) and then to force us to pay them to use our own images after all these years? Major setup by them, actually rather brilliant for them with a dastardly effect on us! grrr...(shoot, I can't even use a picture of chy's dog 'grrr' now...)
So its time for a personal cloud and a down load of, then deletion of, my photobucket acct images and acct....
Dang, what a way to start the 4th of July weekend/week.

Found out about this earlier today. I don't think you have to have the $399.99/year package to have your pictures show in forums. But you do have to have a paid account, like the $99.99/year package. They are pushing the max content $399.99 package with the change and it is a bit deceiving the way it is worded now.

I was dealing with this in another forum. What are the options for a different free platform? I do not want to upload everything to my Google account, but I can.

Long time user as well. In years past these knuckleheads "lost" some of my photos. Additionally I find the service has been sucking for some time along with untold numbers of pops ups using Google Chrome.
No way I'm paying for PB,

I am a long time user too, no way I will pay for that. I have linked countless photos here both to help people and to show my work.

I was going to pay for my photobucket account at one time just to get rid of the adds, but upon reading the terms it would only affect me and not others viewing in my account. I have everything on a one drive now so I may try that and delete photobucket.

Just use multiple email addresses and create as many photobucket amounts as you want

Ha! That used to work when photobucket had limited storage per acct. Today it is not a storage issue, it is a "can't use your photos at all without paying the man" issue.

.Looks like Google and Prime you can only post a link and not a direct link to the forum. If the image link doesn't show .jpg, add that to the end of the URL> At least for this that is what I did with Google+
