Over in the corner was a T100 with a large sign; NEW 2017 T100 WITH VANCE & HINES PIPES, NOW ONLY $1099.00! Fortunately, the salesman also saw the humor in it as he quickly pulled off the sign.

So you weren't quick enough then? We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I was reaching for my checkbook when I walked into his office and told him I wanted to buy the T100 he had in the corner. We walked over to it together and I told him I wouldn't need financing for $1100. He stuttered for a bit, then laughed when he realized I wasn't going to be a jerk about it. I'm easily amused.
