So my 2005 America still very sick. Coughing and spitting through carbs. Nearly blew left carb slap off the cylinder yesterday. All ignition components replaced, cylinder head rebuilt (two exhaust valves replaced due to overheating), valve clearances set, still sick.
Down to needing to replace carburetors if nothing other than those being the only components not replaced. Anyone have a set for sale or to loan me? Chy says the slides are the worse he's seen, and they may be sucking air from butterfly shafts. Over $1000 on this problem, cannot justify $500 for a set of carbs...will part out / sell cheap if this doesn't fix.
