Frank,
I bought mine off these folks. I couldn't find a better deal and they have free shipping via UPS.

I just received an order from JCW, included was a Saddlemen catalog, and their motorcycle catalog, which has a lot of stuff not on their website. Check it out. Charlie

Hey Frank... how picky are you? I've got a set of saddlemen jumbo slant drifter bags sitting under my house doing nothing. They were on the bike when I laid it over so the right side's a little scuffed up & crushed, and one of the little twisty locks that attach the bag to the yoke is missing. However they're still solid bags and the scuff/crush marks are minor. I continued using them after the bike was repaired for 6 months till the dealer got my new bags in on insurance. Noone ever said anything like "Hey mate, nice bike, but what happened to your bags?" so they can't be too bad. If you're putting easybrackets on your bike you won't need the yoke, if not I'm sure that connector could be easilly replaced. I'm happy to pass them your way for AU$20 plus shipping. Contact me by email if you're interested or if you want me to send you some pics. Matt

I have the large saddleman bags and wished I would have looked closer at the picture and/or asked more questions. The set I purchased came with velcro which doesn't work for the daily commuter--the velcro wears out fast. I would never dream that a company would be stupid enough to use velcro on something like a saddle bag whcih is why I thought looking at the bags that the locks were hidden.
Postives: The bags do look good and seem to hold up well I just wish I would have purchased the Jumbo bags with the BUCKLES. If I had BUCKLES plus a little more room (jumbo) I think I would be very happy with the quality/fit and finish of the bags.
I plan on looking at the Willie and Max stuff. I talked to a guy that had a very old pair on and they still looked great--no rails either, just throw-overs which means they took a pretty good beating and still held together.

Next time get the Drifter Slant jumbos. They have the buckles you're looking for. You might even consider the super jumbos. If/when the backs start to crack, saddlemen is great about replaceing them. When you call to get return instructions, ask if you can exchange what you have for drifters.

My Speedmaster has the Saddlemen jumbo slant drifters mounted with Easy Brackets. Nice bag, but wish they were a little bigger.
