Hi all I've got an 014 LT and really like it BUT.....there's a lot of buffeting from under the windscreen at motorway speeds. I know there's been a lot of stuff in the past on here on screen lowers but does anyone have experience of the LT and which lowers fit best. Thanks all Al
I took the Road Less Travelled.

I had this issue on my 2005 once I put the screen on it. Eddy helped me out and I added the Memphis Shades lowers. Love them. https://www.fasteddysports.com/products-page/?product_id=1130

As Billy says, lower fork deflectors, after you find the sweet install spot eliminates most of the buffeting.

Get rid of the windshield altogether and go with a full face helmet. Or, have a replacement screen made by Clearview in the size you prefer. My replacement is 1.5" taller and 2" wider with a light grey tint. Of course, I rarely ever use it anymore unless I know I'm going on a trip where it will be raining the entire time, and even then it's more than likely staying on the shelf in the garage

My problem was not that the screen is not tall enough. It is the wind flow created that come up under the forks and the tank. It hits me in the upper chest and right under the helmet. Lowers solved this problem.
My theory would be the vacuum created by the screen allows air flowing thru the front forks to fill the void. It is most annoying.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking is causing the buffeting... Incidentally the LT seems to sport the world's tallest screen....so it can't be too short...just as well I'm 6'3".

I still have an issue with wind flow. I am getting some buffeting on my helmet. There is a calm area just forward of my riding position. I can get a different windscreen or the other answer I have found is the xcreen. I kinda like the xcreen since I can use it on either bike. http://www.mra.de/en/x-creen

I have something similar which I use on my Switchback.....its good but on the LT as I can feel the turbulence as it come up from below the screen, I think a set of lowers might be the way for me to go

I noticed a lot of newer bikes have the screen pushed out at the bottom. Many also have vents cut in down there.
I had a 2 point mount system (Fast Eddy) on my America which made adjusting easy.
Where I wound up was with the screen pushed out to the very front of the headlight and pushed up 1 1/2 inches above the headlight. The angle turned out to almost exactly match the forks.
Helmet rattleing buffeting is gone. Wind noise is down but not gone. The air hits the top 1/3 of my helmet but it is clean air. There is just a little puff of air that hits my tummy.
This also works on my CB1100. My (2016) CB500X came stock with the bottom pushed out and up and it has vents also and it is fine.

Don't underestimate the value of a toolbag hanging on the front forks to disrupt below screen updrafts.

Don't underestimate the potential of a toolbag hanging on the front forks to scratch your mudguard ( OK,fender to most of you folks)

You're not supposed to actually put tools in it. It's not an HD fer goodness sakes.
