Been looking for a newer bike. 02 Bonneville America has over 158,000 miles getting tired. Found a 06 America 5,875 miles on speedometer. Grey and silver runs and looks good. Selling 02 complete as is. will miss her.

With that kind of miles you probably wont get much for her.. I would clean her up, push her into the shed and go out there every now and then with a beer and reminisce about the good times you had..  Nice goin though.

why not do a complete overhaul and go for another 150K?
not much trade in or resale value, so not much risk in a rebuild, all new bearings and seals, be like new again.
05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter

You could do the air box big bore etc. When I was going to buy a Triumph a sales man told me these engines will do 300,000 Kms.I thought he was full of it but 150,000 Miles is about 240,000 kms so he was on the mark. Again my congratulations to you

Craigslist add. First year production 2002 Triumph Bonneville America for sale. A real classic. If you are one of those people that ride a motorcycle a couple hundred miles a year this bike is for you. With 158,000 original miles there are all kinds of lies you can make up. Wow that is pretty fantastic! I have an 02 with about 60,000 km. Guess I don't need a new bike after all.

She has never been apart except for valve adjust,stato, and asprague clutch.Carbs have never been touched other than synchroning and new plugs. Starts quicker than 06 just picked up.
