So I got a cheap little neon lighting sign as a stocking stuff thing. It runs on 4 AAA batteries. Just found it has a DC thing on the base that my older laptop and monitors used to use. I have a bucket of them. The DC power supply fits fine and lights it up.
Am I gonna fry it? How many volts/amps whatever does 4 AAA batteries make vs. the DC adapter. I am thinking 4-6 volts on the batteries. But I think the laptop DC supplies push in about 19 volts.
There, now you know everything I know about electricity along with when you lift the switch up the room gets bright.
No brand name, nothing to look up on it.
