We are remembering singer Lenonard Cohen who passed away on Monday. He was 82. Older members will remember him from "Suzanne" younger members will know "Hallelujah" He was the Godfather of gloom. His lyrics were moving. We really have lost a lot of our past this year.

I never appreciated him as much as Dylan when I was younger but he did some GREAT work.

CBC locally devoted a big portion of the day on Thursday to him, playing interviews and many of his lesser known songs. More of a poet then a singer spending countless hours on a piece before he would release it. RIP
