 Good post Paul. By the way, Pete J McGuire (my union carpenter brother) is the father of Labor Day. In fact, I was in the local that he founded here in St. Louis until a recent merger moved me into a new one.

Not so fast Dave. There seems to be some dispute over who the real founder was. Matthew McGuire the machinist or Pete McGuire the carpenter. Did you see the little section on the first website that said vote for who you thought the real founder was? Well I voted for Pete because you're my biker brother.

No Ron each state has a day off but only if you're in that state on the day. Not a national day,although a few states have the same day. As for the speekin an ritin stufft .Usn's had it first 'til it was misappropriated by yoos

No, for Jesus to be a socialist he would have had use the power of the state to steal those loaves and fishes from someone. Smashing up the "money usurers " stalls just proves Jesus was against crony capitalism.

Paul, a better argument for Jesus being a socialist, would be that he obviously would support the Green Party candidate Jill Stein for president along with high carbon taxes because you know he never drove a car or had air conditioning.
