Not sure whether to start post here, but the velcro ain't holding up as well no mo. Has anyone done anything to remedy that? Maybe a short bungee?

Not sure what came undone, but you can buy part A and part B Velcro most anywhere and have a leather shop sew it on.

All of my experience with Velcro is that it doesn't last. You can clean it some, but it just plain "fatigues" after a while.

So I can have that removed and resown, eh? I will see what i can do sbout that. Saw bags for $90 and they had string tie downs, but again, they had velcro for the lid instead of snaps. As always, thank yas

I wonder if you razor out a void in the Velcro then glue this into the void on each side. I bet it would hold well. magnet

I had the same problem, and I drilled 2 small holes through both velcro pieces and the saddlebag wall. Then, I ran a black zip tie through all six holes, as your in the process of wrapping the velcro strap around the saddlebag bracket. Fasten the zip tie on the inside of the saddlebag, cut off the excess, no more problems. I have the large triumph leather bags mounted on the chrome factory brackets.
