Yet another platform for the boxter engine. I've been lukewarm to the different recent scramblers (even the Triumph) up to this point but I like this one. I like it a whole lot better than the hard core adventure bike the 1200 GS. But you'll probably have to pay big time. The Triumph and Ducati Scramblers are relative bargains ($8-10,000). I like the bike a lot. Of course I like all the Scramblers including the new Yamaha Scrambler based on the Bolt. Can't wait to see the next Triumph Scrambler.

Here are the UK prices for-
Triumph T120 £9,600
BMW R nine T £11,900
BMW Scrambler £ 10,530
The scrambler is less than the R nine T by a good bit.

T120 $12,547; R nine T $15,553; R nine T Scrambler $13,762.71. Well that's encouraging. The BMW dealer in Tulsa has 3 new 2015 R nine T roadsters. He's got the prices down to $12,900. I guess he can't get rid of them.
