I think a 1200cc Speedmaster would be very cool. But I am pretty close to paying mine off, so I don't need the temptation!!! Being 57, I was sorry to read about those guys on that thread having older age job problems.

Isn't 30 miles East of Milwaukee in Lake Michigan navigable waters?

I don't know if anyone has noticed but it appears that Triumph is phasing out the 1600cc Thunderbird as there isn't a 2016 model available. So a 1200cc Speedy/America would slot nicely into their cruiser line up.

Yeah that's old news. Triumph cant afford not to have a 1200 America/Speedmaster if they want to keep the line going and be competitive. Plus the EPA is forcing them all to go to water cooled. The 865 engine will be gone from the line-up. Even Harley and BMW boxter engine are water cooled. I wonder when Indian and Victory will make the move?

Indian Scout / Victory Octane both water cooled. Both are fast, both are odd designs. That's my take anyway.

Besides the Scout and Octane, there have been rumors of a liquid-cooled tourer upgrade to the Vision.
Some of us are waiting on a liquid-cooled Indian 4.

A cruiser could possibly be introduced in a couple of days at the Cologne Motor Show.

They just introduced the Street Cup, T100, and T100 black on Triumph's Facebook page, nothing about any cruisers yet, not even that bobber.

Yes Bummer.Still as I say no cruiser makes my America's position in the garage more secure. They've got me waiting like one of Pavlov's Dogs.

Isn't the Street Cup just a Thruxton with different bling on it? Pointless saying they make 20-30-40 bikes if some are just tweaks on what they already produce.
Anyway, I thought a cup was something you shoved down the front of your skids

Triumph is still a relatively small company, I think they do great getting out the new designs as often as they do. I'm sure the new motor will make it to the cruiser line soon.

Hope they don't get spread thin that way like GM did. Be better to just offer those options on existing models.

count me in! a lighter cruiser with just enough power would be great. Triumph did a great job with their water cooling IMO, not a big ugly radiator like the scout. i will take dual discs with cartridge forks, pretty please!
