I tried to put in some kuryakyn silver bullets but after two bad lights(the small ones)I am throwing in the towel. The jerk dealer is tring not to honor kuryakyn warrenty, won't mention names CYCLE OUTFITTERS IN INDIANAPOLIS!!!!!Any way I put the stock back on and I am floating some alternatives around. One of these ideas being to move the fronts to under the light bar, shorten the stems on the back, and for all four try to get clear lenses with the yellow bulbs.Any body know were any can be found?ALSO if your reading this Brent wink, wink, hint, hint, nudge, nudge!

Sorry to tell you, but there are no clear lenses available for our turn signals. I swapped the stock front ones for a pair of Deuce signals and bought smoke lenses to them. In the back i put mini blinkers. Oh yes, I also got chromed amber bulbs that light up amber but are more or less invisible when not lit.

You mean like this:

I have some install tips on how to do this, not terribly difficult. You do have to solder some wires and run new signal wires through the lightbar (the most challenging part, that bar is tight!)

Gosh knows we all tried to find some clear lenses about 18 months ago or so. Maybe a search will be more fruitful today?

Speaking of clear lenses. I now have signals with clear lenses but would love to put amber bulbs in front, red in rear. I found some little bulb condom things in red for the rear, but no amber for the front...

Sent out to your email.

Someone suggested posting in the Tech Vault. I contacted Benny, the Moderator and I'm writing up a formal step-by-step "how to" with some better pictures. I did this mod nearly two years ago and may have missed some steps. I wrote up the steps and will send out to you folks. If someone completes the mod and notices anything inaccurate or can enhance the comment, please send me the feedback.
I could also use a picture of a drilled housing and what size hole is required. I'll send out a "Draft" Adobe document to you folks. Let me know what you think and please point out any errors.

Or you could just link to the "how to" for this mod on my site.

I was wondering if you had one there already Matt, but ya beat me to it.

Al, send me yours, I'll compare it to Matts. Maybe you guys can compare pics and enhance his page or something.

Yeah, what Matt said. His write up is quite thorough and very well written. Like the rest of the stuff on his site. Go with Matt's link, it has great pictures, I haven't even started on that yet (thankfully!). I'd only add:
- Use "Fish Wire" to pull wire through the bar, available at most body shop supply stores.
What is creepy, is we have written up almost identical "how-to's"! I guess we think alike!
