Hello A round cylinder behind motor near where center stand would attach. it about 3"x 6" Is this some kind of breather? Can some one enlighten me. And if so why is there no hose attached to it on the brake pedal side<< KJ

OK its a carbon canister. For fuel vapor's???? Is this on all models or is this Kalifenia crap?
IOW can I take it off Should there be a hose attached to the brake pedal side??

I think that the carbon canister or cat converter is Cali only. Disconnect it and you may have some emission inspection griefs. Move to Ga. and toss all that stuff !

Don't throw that away! You can't travel through time, well backwards anyway, without the flux capacitor! ( You will only be able to travel forward in time very slowly)

Ok its off. no probs. I found that the two hoses connect to right carb ( sitting on bike) then T over to one connecter, pipe on left carb. What do I seal these pipes up with ??

Save that stuff so you have the option of selling it to a more restrictive state later on. You don't need it but why bugger a future sale?

Ed's sage advice.  Same deal with OEM pipes, stashem away so's the bike can be restored like Ed said.

All came off soo easy. I did not have to remove tank! Ordered the OEM caps from Bikebandit $3.49 each. Ahhh feel better now ;]
