Has anyone been in the bottom end of a motor and know how hard it is to change the gear change shift assembly. I have been working on putting my fathers bike back together and I beleave it is bent on his bike. As of right now I cant get the clutch cover off and I was leaking oil from the seal around it.

Ok that's what I was thinking thanks for the confirmation. I might run in to a problem removeing it if it is bent but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there.

I'm sorry, there is no way around it, the clutch cover has to come off.
