A while ago I read a biography of Oliver Sacks and I really enjoyed the parts about growing up and riding various bikes from the late fifties on in England and later in the US. Are there other books set in that time period that people know of?
Also, I guess, movies - one of my all time favourites is "the leather boys" with rita tushingham - I've also seen thing like quadrophenia but I wasn't as keen.
