1971 Triumph Bonneville T120R 650, 4 speed. Right side shift. First year of the OIF model.
Had a frame off restoration by Steve Barlow at http://ww.barlowvintage.com in 2001.
Other work and maintenance has been done by Hutchinson Cycle http://www.hutchinsoncycle.com
In storage for the past 3 years. Carbs will need to be gone through, oil change, battery, etc.
A good all over cleaning and detailing and minor cosmetics. An easy winter project to be ready for Spring.
Too much work done to list, but check out the pics. One of the nicest '71s around (if not the nicest, imho)
A definite head turner, but she's a rider, not a trailer queen. Located in Northeastern Mass. Motor and
frame matching numbers. Clear title. $4500 Message me or email johngk@comcast.net
if interested and for more info. Thanks.

Nice bike but bars, mufflers, and hubs are wrong for a restoration. Hubs should be grey.

That would be fun getting used to a right shift again.
Nice looking bike.

Sure is a head turner. I'm not a big fan of yellow, but it looks good here. And, this was my first bike, bought used in 1978.

She was retro styled / slight custom. Mufflers, fork boots, tank pads. The hubs were powder coated black. Actually I wish I had powder coated the rims black with black spokes. The air boxes were replaced with emgo air cleaners. It has dummy side covers. The bars are correct. Electronic ignition (no points) Not a straight on concourse restoration because she's a rider.

The paint is Gold over Silver which makes it brighter. Originally it would
have been Gold over Black.

No, those bars are close but not correct, I didn't list all I saw like the air cleaners just the first few that popped right out at me. Those bars are slightly taller than stock. I actually have 2 of those bikes that are factory stock, except one is the T120V. Only difference is the V is the 5 speed version. Like I said though, it's a nice bike, I like what you have done with it. I am not by any means knocking it. I am glad you only powder coated the hubs, while not stock I like it much better. I was never a fan of the conical hubs but not bad done black.
