Alright now, I'm becoming convinced I'm either a full fairing windshield rider such as the Goldwing, or no windshield at all.

I have a triumph windshield on my 06 America. This took care of the direct head on wind, but what happens is the wind wraps around the windshield and hits my helmet directly on the sides and buffets it back and forth! Above about 60mph it makes me dizzy from the side to side buffeting. How does anyone ride with the wind buffeting hitting their helmet without getting dizzy.............. or just plain annoyed from it? I haven't figured a good way yet to block the wind on the America. It frustrated me and almost makes me not want to ride. Without the windshield the wind is somewhat tolerable, but holding my body against the force of the wind will tire out my shoulders and arms. What do I do? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated guys............and gals

The buffeting may actually come up from the front of the tank and in your face. Fork deflectors usually cure this. Contact vendor member Fast Eddy and he'll get you squared away.

Which screen do you have, the full size Roadster or the shorter summer screen? What style of helmet do you wear?
I have the Roadster screen and buffeting was a real issue at interstate speeds. I cut it down several inches and am very happy with the results. Still get wind but it is not fatiguing even after many highway miles. I wear a modular helmet, w/o the face screen most of the year (also live in Florida). Interstate travel is much better with the face shield on the helmet.
As mentioned above, lowers on the forks have been used successfully by several people.
