So, are they Ramon Navarro and Francis X. Bushman, OR Charlton Heston and Stephen Boyd??? A friend emailed this photo to me and I thought you guys would enjoy it, also. (...and for you "kids" around here who don't watch B&W films and let alone silent ones, the first two guys I named starred in the original 1925 silent version of "Ben-Hur", one of greatest of all silent films ever made...I HOPE you have AT LEAST seen the 1959 remake, RIGHT?!...I mean THAT one WAS in Technicolor ya know, and wide-screen to BOOT!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Thanks, Ryk. So that's where my friend found it, eh?!
(...and yeah, of course they were none of the actors I jokingly named here...you know me, "Mr. Classic Movie Fan" here liked that photo because it sort of combined two of my passions)

Promethius and Sildenafil ? And yessir, I watched both the B&W and '59 remake. The former was an awesome chariot race, way before OSHA and union crap. What you see is actually what happened. I hope Hollywierd never does part 3.

There is no such thing as a bad film version of Ben Hur. That is not to say Hollywood isn't capable of a bad Ben Hur.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
