I have been riding to work for the last week. I noticed a rattle when I rode it across the street without my helmet on late last week and thought it might be the air pump from the AI that I no longer have hooked up. Today I had my helmet off again to ride across the street and the noise was a lot louder. I got off the bike and crawled under to look while it was still running and the right spark plug was only screwed in about two turns. WhAt the H3##. How does this happen?
It happens because some dealers and bike shops don't think, or double check stuff. You probably heard that tippity tap compression leak. I have been guilty of forgetting stuff, we've all done it..
I took it in a few weeks ago to have a new map installed and have them check it out before the warranty runs out. I guess it is possible they pulled the plugs then. ThIs why I prefer to do my own work.
