Thank you sir!!!

Air Force 1979 to 1984

Did just over 2 years at RAF Lakenheath.
That was a good time.

Had to fly from Indy to Baltimore today on business. After eating lunch at the Airport I heard my name over the PA to board the flight. The flight attendant asked why I was late. Not having a good answer I told her I am Veteran.
Her reply. Drop and give me 20.

I said how about I just find a seat.

Nu uh, you made that up. If a stewardess told me to drop and give her 20 I would probably ask if I could give her a note from my Dr. instead, or maybe drinks and dinner later, if she wasn't too ugly.

I've been retired from the Air Force for over 20 yrs now and I sometimes still miss the professionalism we had.

Yeah there were some good times. A group of us 4 soldiers had 3 Triumphs and a Honda 750 at Ft. Benning, Ga. We kind of rode around together. The highlight one year was going to the Daytona 200. The Yamahas dominated, but the crowd loved the Harleys.

Navy 62-66. The Navy was exactly what I needed at that time of my life.

Cub Scout here. Just kidding, deep thanks for your service and God bless.
