So I recently changed out my clutch springs to Barnett with hd springs. I have a screeching sound when taking off from first gear (normal acceleration no sound, only when getting on it). Only first gear take off, never had a problem with stock plates and springs....help please

Out of sequence clutch plates? Proper rated oil? The clutch properly torqued? If you're worried, pull the cover and look for scar tissue, for it to screech (your descript) something that moves in there is probably wearing.

Sounds like either plates out of order or a throw out issue.

I trust there was no noise before.

Why did you change the stock springs?
Is your engine modded at all?
Was the clutch slipping before?
Mileage?

Sounds like an exploratory surgery is indicated, at least, that's what I'd do.

If you never had a problem with the stock plates and springs why did you change them?

I never had a problem with stock plates making a noise is what I should have said, my clutch was slipping bad that is why I changed. I can't really say why I installed the HD springs...just did. I still have the sound on take off under load...no slipping, just that damned noise. I don't know. I've heard rumors that full synthetic oil could be making the noise with kevlar plates. I can't seem to believe that, I did switch from semi-synthetic (spectro) to full (mobile one) after I rebuilt clutch.

Full synthetic causing the noise is pure BS. Be sure you are using motorcycle oil designed for a wet clutch.I find it dubious that any oil would cause the noise, I would be looking for a mechanical reason. I can't hear it so I wouldn't know where to look.

I'd pull the cover and check the clutch plate sequence before something shreds and gets picked up by the oil pumps. Not sure if these units have a screen in the sump.

I'm not saying this is the cause of your problem
I had something similer to this on my Speedy some time ago
Turned out to be the chain slapping up under the swingarm adjust chain and all was good
