I ordered some Biltwell pegs for my 2004 Speedmaster. The website said that they would fit all Hinkley Bonnevilles and Scramblers. They didn't! The new clevis was 7/8" wide where the stock one is 3/4". The new one would not slide into the mounting clevis.

Is my 2004 a bastard size? Or do Speedmasters and Americas have different peg mounting than Bonnevilles and Scamblers? Does anybody make a direct replacement foot peg?

There are adapters out there, whether there are ones that will remedy your application, I'm unsure. A few years back, I was able to make Kury SwingWings mount up, which I quickly abandoned because I couldn't keep my feet on the swingouts due to the angle as designed. You need to ascertain what your pegs do fit and go from there.

My speedys pegs are different to my Wifes Bonnie, NOT interchangable.

Yeah, that is what I am finding out. There is 1/8" difference in the female clevis. I would have thought that they would be the same.

As a mechanical engineer who designs things for a living, it's easier to make them the same. For them to be different, somebody decided that they did not want the pegs to be interchangeable.
