Was going to order my long overdue set of intiminators from Ricor. $179 has been their price for some time now. I went to purchase then checked the shipping it was another $19.99. So we're talking $200 bucks. Decided to look online for a better deal and found PDI-Racing.com had them for $150 and free shipping. That's a deal I can live with.

Brian from Ricor specifically advised me against that.

I have read that you should not use Bel-Ray too. 5W Amsoil has worked fine for me as an aside. Getting the un adjustable preload right, was the only challenge involved.

Ryk the preload on the springs/spacer or do you mean fluid level etc...

Just the perfect preload, trimming the spacer tube as much as the the intim valve takes up and the oil level at spec gets you close, I fiddled around with both and got the forks as close as need be for me and I'm quite anal, so it took some experimentation. IIRC, the spacer tube had to gain +5/16" from the recommended cut and the oil +1/2" higher. Use your original springs, I tried progressives with the valves and I couldn't get the forks dialed in for nothing.
