I sourced these from a fleabay seller named "thefastgear", & I must say they are better than I expected...they are intended for a 97 - 00 Yamaha XVS 650 & they fit the BA/SM forks pretty well. I reused the OEM O rings. Here they are installed: Pre-installation: If you need to shim a spacer, something like this is what you want to use: The PCV spacers needed to be shortened, & I may do some more work on the spacers before I am finished tuning this combo.

In case anyone is wondering a 5/8" socket fit the adjuster posts & a 1-1/16" socket fit the caps...

Hey B02S4, Do you happen to have a link still from fleabay on these? I found the following ones but they are being sold by a different seller. Looks like the right ones but just wanted to make sure: http://www.ebay.com/itm/XVS650-FRONT-FOR...a97&vxp=mtrAlso - would anyone happen to know if the fork cap bolts on a 07 Bonneville are the same size as an America/SM to see if these would work, too? I just ordered the intiminators for my bike and these seem like it will make the install process a bit easier in finding that just-right preload setting. Thanks, Jason

If both models are 41mm forks, the chances are good they cross over.

Yep, here Adjustable Fork Caps
And no regrets.
The link that you posted will work, and I considered them, however I like the ones that I picked better.
To my knowledge all of the Modern Classic Twin KYB 41mm fork caps will interchange.
Showa 41mm fork caps do NOT fit our bikes, though.

FWIW, my current setup includes Ricor Intiminators, OEM springs & spring bushings ("washers"), PVC spacers, and the above-mentioned caps. The PVC spacers are approx. 6-7/16" port side, & 6-1/2" starboard side. With the above, the adjuster posts have approx. 5 lines showing. The spacers could be shorter in order to have less post exposed.
Bonus tip # 1: use a fresh fine-tooth metal blade on your hacksaw & a vise to hold the PVC for the initial cut.
Bonus tip # 2: use a 2" round abrasive disk & twist-lock holder in a variable speed drill to "dress" the PVC initial cut and bring the PVC spacers to final dimension.
Bonus tip # 3: use a countersink bit, fine blade, &/or file to trim any stray fibers from the dress-cut PVC ends.

Also, you can use a sheet of paper, in lieu of a pipe wrap around, for a perfectly square cut line.

Bonus Tip # 4: 3M blue tape or equivalent at the cut line will help make for a smoother cut.

Bonus Tip # 5: Now we're playing with power! As always, much appreciated on all the info above, guys! I just ordered mine through fleabay and now await my intiminators, fork oil and adjustable pre-load fork caps to be had for the wrenching to begin

If you want to cut PVC and get a straight cut the best way I have found is to put a hose clamp on it for a guide.

I installed my intiminators a few months ago as well as adding the pre load adjusters. I went with PVC as well and saved the stock spacers. I used my miter saw (laser guided) to cut the new spacers I don't think you could get a better cut than that.

The hose clamp trick is for a hand hacksaw and it does give you a nice square cut.

Since the Hagon 2810 rear shocks are now better dialed in, it's time to shorten the PVC spacers a bit more. My target is about 40mm rider sag on the fork; currently, it's about 35mm rider sag & the adjusters are at full out.
