my 02 red/silver america is running lean. i dont have the money to take to a mech so id like to do some adjusting at home, preferably without having to remove the carbs. i find it to be intimidating. i just checked and changed the plugs needless to say they were white which means shes running lean. i should also add i removed the cali add-ons (vaccuum lines and canisters) because they had gummed up the works and were a useless couple pounds. but i know i need to dial the air back. white plugs blue pipes, i dont want to buren out the valves. any suggestions, advice or how to's are greatly appreciated.

First thing, as I posted in another thread, on an older bike is be sure you have no vacuum leaks, then on to filtration, pipes, and jetting.
