June 14th is the annual OVMA (Ozark Vintage Motorcycle Assoc) gettogather / rally at Blowing Springs (it really does..literally) park in Bella Vista, Arkansas.....North of Fayetteville off I-540/I49 .... Old bikes, swap meet and this year a slow race.... cool t-shirts. Lots of Trumps and other cool old iron to gander at. June 14 9:00am to 3:00pm (yes it is on Sunday) go to the web site to see event flyer and direction (getting there is easy if you know where it is at )

The map to Blowing Springs that was on the www.ozarkvma.com website had a mistake. It has been fixed now. Also please note that the judging format has changed this year. Participants can buy tickets at $1.00 each to vote for a bike. First through fifth places will receive trophies. Cost of entry for each bike is to buy five tickets. All proceeds from the bike show go to the Circle of Life Hospice of NW Arkansas. Hot dogs, sides, drinks etc. available for a small donation. Lots of bikes to view and bike enthusiasts to visit. I'll even sell you a t-shirt at a good price (my assignment this year is water/t-shirt sales). OVMA has a couple of graphic designers as members and the shirts are always very nicely done.

Putting the water on the t-shirts seems to work pretty good.

Speaking of.... I was flashed by a woman in downtown Rogers, AR not too long ago. Some people just do not have an appreciation for what the ravages of gravity and hair bleach can do. A thing I have been striving to unsee ever since.

Maybe Donny will put his pictures on since I'm a techno idiot and don't know how. We missed most of the rain. I barely had the bike in the garage and is started to pour. It was a fun ride with some pretty cool old bikes.

Put Saturday, September 26 2015 on your schedule. Our second annual Ozark Vintage Motorcycle Association show at Arvest Baseball Park in Springdale, AR as a part of Bikes Blues and BBQ. Tons of bike stuff going on all over this part of Arkansas that week.
Thanks Dan, Donny, and Paul for showing up and support OVMA.

Dave that is interesting as I was told that (next year I'll RIDE the Daytona down) is an old Cherokee phrase that refers to wild abandon or adventure while suffering unimaginable physical pain or hardship !
