After I got my bike back, finally, from its last maintenance the neutral indicator is mostly not working. That is to say most of the time it does not work at all, some of the time it glows much dimmer than it should (replaced with LEDs years ago) and on a few very rare occasions it is normal.

The connection under the console seems fine, wanted to check the connection on the neutral switch (I am assuming that's ultimately what turns the indicator on or off) - can someone please tell or show me where it is ?

Personally I find it too much of a coincidence that it stopped working immediately after the maintenance work to believe the neutral switch has gone faulty...

It is under the transmission near the oil filter.

Thanks, found it, it is fine - didn't think it was an issue.

Seems to be a dodgy connection on the indicator after all - it seemed ok when I looked at it, but after I bolted the console back down it is shining as brightly as ever. Thy probably just didn't get it *quite* on snugly as the raced to complete at closing time the maintenance scheduled weeks in advance where they had the bike for a couple of days...

Did I mention they Triumph opened a new dealer out in my part of town now so I won't need to arrange rides clear across town in the future ?
