Going with the local RAT pack again at the end of April.
Taking the Mrs down this time though, not sure if thats a good thing or not, but we will be staying an extra night in the lakes on the way back up.
Any questions you guys have for the factory dude just let me know.

You could ask him how Triumph can ship the bikes 3000 miles and still sell them cheaper in the US than in the UK?
Failing that, when is the mid range cruiser coming out?

That's easy, no or at least low VAT on exports. When the government adds some 17% every time something changes hands, it adds up.

Do us all a favour Grip. On the way through the R3 assembly area, ask about free samples.

Hey Grip Which date, morning or afternoon tour and will you be riding?
I might just turn up and put a face to a name before you go in.

Changing direction slightly. Last week i went to the Jack Daniels Disterlery in Lynchburg Tennessee. Lynchburg is a dry county, has been for years. I dont know if its local government or State Governement. But some one has granted Jack Daniels special permission to sell their Whisky in the Museum store. I think the bottles they sell must be specials becouse you could not buy the regular No7. I brought a bottle of the Belgium Gold Medal edition JD. Even got the Master Brewer to sign the bottle for me. The bottle comes with a certificate as well. Havent opened the bottle yet....but i will Now back to the thread. Have fun at the factory tour.

Adey
We are riding down on the Sunday, staying at the Greyhound Inn, Lutterworth on the sunday night. The tour last year was on the Monday morning so I assume it'll be the same this year.
I'll bung you my mobile number in a pm if you'd like.
cheers Grip

OK questions so far When is the middle weight cruiser coming out? VAT for overseas guys ? Mine are.... Why do Triumph always make warranty claims seam so difficult instead of saying hmmmm an unhappy customer how can we make that right? I'm interested in the middle weight cruiser too. Why don't triumph make more parts and accessories for us? Its great we can source stuff from the States and NZ etc but its a royal pita for us! Why don't triumph make boots to fit bulky guys? Seen the new ones yet? look great but I doubt they would fit my forearms let alone my calfs! Can I have that rocket thats tucked away in the corner?
