My favorite King Arthur, from the movie Excalibur, is no more.

We lost a great actor and person. May he find peace in Avalon.

His is the ONLY tale of Arthur that has been done well. The worst was Sean Connery's try. I showed my students in history this film, just so they would have the opportunity to see how a legendary tale can be presented in a meaningful way.
