Have you got a front end issue? Stabilizers treat the symptom, not the cause.

No issue on the front end, my front end is extremely lite. It always has been since slapping on apes and taller risers, hell I've ridden this way for a long time. Just looking for greater stability up front, would this help, I'll take all suggestions, thanks

Light as in the front tire is washing out on curves? Or the steering is on the loose side. Sorry, but you're being kinda vague. The only time my front felt light, was when I was getting on it on a sharp curved on ramp and I experienced a class 5 pucker factor. I still didn't wash out, thanks to warm, clean asphalt and a good quality tire.

The steering feels and has always felt on the loose side after raising my bars. With the stock beach bars on the front it felt "heavier", the steering that is. Curiosity has bitten me...wondering if a stabilizer would help in this situation.

Do you still have the original Schwinn steering neck, ball bearings. Tapered bearings and the proper preload might square your problems away. Easy job when you have the right tools. Come to think of it, the difference could be in the perceived effort to turn, with the different geometry of the bars?

Yep same ball bearings in the steering neck, haven't changed them. I'll look into it, thanks.

I have the correct bearing separator for pulling the bottom race off with no fuss, PM me if you need it.
