I have the chance of some free T100 Bonneville TOR end cans. Will they fit on a BA?
I fear that they may not.....

They likely have the same size diameter pipe for the header & muffler, but... The peashooter mufflers I had on my Bonneville had a sweep in the pipe between the header joint and the muffler itself. Not sure if all years had the same kink. Think the Thruxton had a straighter header and muffler profile but could be wrong.
09 America, some modifications

I'm thinking Bonneville pipes are a smaller diameter than the America but don't know for sure.
Live to love, love to live.

If they are free, get them and try them on. Then get back to us and let us know! :-)

Tried them they would need major fabrication to get them the fit. The bracket is far too far away......the bore is the same though.

How far away were the beginning of the cans and the end of your factory head pipe? Was it a level distance, or were the cans setting up higher also? I've always wanted to mount a set of vintage looking "pea-shooters" on to my '12 America. Are these mufflers actually the "Triumph brand OFF-Road" slip-ons, or "TORs" for the T100, and not just a set of the stock T100pea-shooters? If they're the actual TORs, and you're considering selling them, I may be interested.

Bonnie pipes bend up at the front of the mufflerMaking it not practical to fit. There are pea shooters out there with 1 3/4" inlets that are straight that will work.

Where would one look for such a set of pea shooters pray tell? So the inlets on the America cans are 1 and 3/4 then? Thanks! Mike

Unless you an find some that are specific for TBAs, I would stay away from the Bonnie ones, they are totally different in mounting. Inquire with Norman Hyde, that would be a good start for a search. If they exist, they might point you in the right direction.
