Rear tire showed up today...

I am now certain that I am not happy with this style of rear fender...

This one is a new Maverick fiberglass bobber that I got for $50. I think I want to trim up the edge of it a little more. I do not like the way it is cut now.

The engine is one of my buddy's many Buick 350s. We were suppose to rebuild it a few winters ago. If finally made it's way into my shop last winter. I am still waiting on him to grind off some casing flashing, and then take it to the machine shop. Every time he comes over, he cries about the Chevy Orange paint that someone coated the engine in. As you would guess, that will not say. If this engine ever gets finished, it will go into one of his many Regals.

As far as the fender goes, I have it marked out to trim it level with the bottom of the strut. I will see how that looks. If I am still not happy, I will round it with the back of the strut, similar to this Maverick photo;

If I am still not happy, I will throw a bunch of coin at Brent at New Bonneville, and order the Free Spirits fender that I originally planned on using;

This is a bike that I drew up probably five years ago, when I wanted to build a land speed bike out of my first '05 SM. It is similar to what I am trying to do with this drag bike;
