What tool do I need to remove the throttle position sensor? It looks like an allen head but has a raised post in the middle.

Security Torx, same as our badge fasteners. For as little as you'll use it, buy a cheap set in a pouch or one of those fold up sets. I made my own or this: TPS_Elim Once I unhooked it.

So that I can remove the carbs from the bike. I stripped two of the brass screws out on the float bowl and removing the carbs will make them easier to work on.

You can unplug them from the harness, no need to remove them to pull the carbs.

Thanks Ian, that worked. I cut a slot in the brass screws with a Dremel then backed them out with a flat head screw driver.
