Hey guys and gals
I've ordered me the Easy Brackets off Brent and I want some pointers for BIG panniers to use 'em with.
Where you getting your bags from over here?
I'm talking leather of course.
I tried a few web sites but they all seem a bit puney (though still not as small at the Triumph ones ).
Cheers in advance.

Ade, I have been searching around the net for some bags myself. Although I can't afford leather! I found a site that has W&M for cheaper than anywhere else. They have quite a few different brands. www.classiccruiser.com

Ade Try www.getgeared.co.uk thats where I got mine from, and there leather, a breeze to attach easybrackets to, they do say that you should'nt do over 80 mph with them on, but have tested them at higher speeds, no problems as long as there's a bit of weight in them. looking at the speed bag at the moment to set it all off. Hey paul Thanks, but the ones in bikers paradise are too narrow, only around 4 inches or so wide. I liked the look of Andy's panniers because they look quite wide.
I got my last (and new!!) leathers from bikers paradise and was in the there on Tuesday getting some new trousers.
I asked if he could make me some wider but he said he couldn't. There was no call for 'em he said. I thought perhaps if he made 'em wider, he'd sell 'em ... !

After much consideration I have just decided to use the oxford sports panniers I already have.
for the ammount of time I am going to ride with panniers I figured that what i have already will do just fine. Lets face it to carry anything in panniers in this country and keep them dry, we do need to cover the pannier itself in a nylon cover....
hmmm funny line to follow

Cheers Dave I think I saw this site after searching on Google. Shipping from the US put me off, but if they come from Germany! They're a bit pricey too

Hi Ade, as you know I recomended mine to Martyn and we are both very happy with them. They do not seem to let water in even after me coming back from Welsh Wales run the contents were dry. And they look quite nice on...

Hey Adey , This may be another ignorant yank question but for curiosities sake I'll risk it.We (oviously)in the states call them saddle bags but what's behind the word panniers?

Hey James I'm not sure myself but a quick look on Google might have the answer HERE .
Something to do with two sticky-out bits on an 18tyh century dress! Certainly looks like a pair of panniers anyway!!
