Its almost April 1st, have not ridden this year. Too cold, no end in sight. Usually by this time of year had the America out a few times. Not this year. From the weather reports may not be warm enough (45+) to ride till mid April.

Kind of hard for me to relate. I'm sitting here in my board shorts waiting for my wife to finish dressing so we can go to the beach.

FLORIDA!

Guaranteed! The weather will be beautiful when job or family obligations make no time for riding. Guaranteed, bank on it.

Yah nature started its April fools prank early and I think its going to carry on for a while. That said I saw a guy out on a Kawasaki cruiser today, too much salt still on the roads for my likings.

So you see alot of snowmobiles down your way or is that just a hypothesis?

The only people you see out in Winter here are riding a Ural and carrying a big squeegee.

Just a hypothesis Paul. That being said when I moved down south from L.I. New York I was under the impression I could get rid of all my winter clothing! Boy was I in for a rude awakening!! Apparently I didn't move far enough south.

35F (above) this morning and I rode to work. It should be 50F when I leave. I will be taking in extra miles on the way home to be sure.

after a while you just can't count on the weather being perfect.

Nice enough here except for some serious wind at times. Can't ride anyway, my spleen has enlarged to the point that it is jammed between the kidney and ribs. Interesting combination of pains, sharp stabbing in front and ache like a pulled muscle in back. Really pee's me off when my inner works turn on me like that!

Still waiting for the snow to move off the streets.... One of the coldest winters in 20 years. Mines still in winter storage.

Might be time to look at alternative medicine.

Cop on MC cruising down Elgin St. today, the boys in blue are a hardy bunch around here.

Well, I rode all winter here in Iowa. At least once a week when it hit 40 degrees or so. Ridden a couple hundred miles in the last three days, 55 to 75 degrees. I feel for you northerners. I couldn't live up there!

I only have about 1,200 miles on the bike so far this year. Cold weather sucks.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Out here in South Western Canada we had a super easy winter and by the time February rolled around, bikes were back on the highways and byways. Personally, I held back only because of the sand and dust, but it's been an early start for many in this part of the world.

Crap. Sorry Ed. I hope things work out for you and your physicians get it figured out.
