I'm planning a ride through Canada, down into Washington state, in June, and I'm coming back home to Iowa through the Northern states. Any of them, route not determined yet. Probably Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, or any combination of them. Any recomendations as to what to see on the way back? I like both historical sites and natural wonders. And food!

Make sure you Banff and Lake Louise when going through Alberta. Also Kelowna area in British Columbia.

Yeah, Kelowna!

And when ya get there Rich, say hello to my Ma for me, okay?!

Though, if you make it there in June, you'll miss me by a month, as I'm planning my yearly visit to see the lovey lady in May of this year, sorry.

(...or maybe lucky you, eh?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

As you leave Canada head south between Hope and Vancouver (riding in Vancouver was a ******!), come down into WA and ride around Mt Rainier then head down to Mt St Helens. Both awesome sights and awesome rides.

When ever I read or hear "Lake Louise" this song never fails to play in my head.

Yuza gonna love the Kootenays, home to yours truly. It's Canada's best keep secret. Everyone seems to drive on by keeping the best behind for us. I'll take it!

to bad you can't make the RAT raid in Nelson in July, that would be a great ride.
