A few years back now, my daughter was riding the '06 then and my son and I had just bought and hung a gently used set of the Triumph large square saddlebags, using a set of EasyBrackets from FastEddy for the bike. We all left the house at the same time to do separate things and it was the first time I had seen the bike on the street without actually sitting on it. From the rear the bags were wagging at every small bump in the road and all I could see was Sister Bertrille s hat from the 'Flying Nun'
tv show in the 60s. Looked pretty weak, so I was motivated to do this:

Not only will they handle more weight, but I feel that both bags being held relatively static, that the bike handles more predictably in crosswinds at cruising speed.
